Saint -Lô, no less than 10 commemorative exhibitions From April to September, there will be at least ten exhibitions , in different areas of Saint -Lô, showing the many sides to what happened 75 years ago and how the town was rebuilt, with photos, comic strips, drawings, art installations, post cards, etc.. You cannot miss the 4 trails with over 60 large-sized signs along the towpath.
Saint -Lô boasts a strong cultural identity: library, arts museum, Norman Bocage Museum, arts and music schools, theatre, multiscreen cinema. The town supports music festivals such as “ Rendez-vous Soniques”, a song festival…Spearhead for rock in la Manche, Saint -Lô is also home to the arts workshop “Ateliers Arts Plume”.
Although the museum is mainly devoted to Fine Art, from the summer of 2014 visitors have also been able to take in a new exhibition entitled ‘Men make the History of Saint -Lô’. Covering over 300 m² of floor space, it traces the history of the city from Neolithic times right up to its reconstruction in the middle of the 20 th century.
